Deploying a SOA application
There are three
ways in which nTegrator applications can be deployed:
-
If the
application is going to be deployed on the computer on which was
developed, then the deployment is handled automatically by the
nTegrator Explorer. The hierarchy of collections, Data Transports,
and Agents is automatically moved into the appropriate place in the nTegrator system so that it can be accessed by those with the
appropriate levels of security.
-
If the
application is going to be deployed on a computer that is not
currently running a copy of the nTegrator platform, then the
nTegrator platform can be downloaded to the target computer
accompanied by a script that will install the application in the
appropriate place in the nTegrator system.
-
If the
application is going to be deployed on a computer that already has a
copy of the nTegrator platform, then all that need to be sent to the
target computer are the new files, if any, that are required by the
application along with a script that will install the application.
